Ivan Canela,the lead musician of the group Guaritoto, belongs to a family of famous musicians from Barquisameto. His father Pablo Canela was popular for decades singing "musica larense" or music from Lara state. The first video recording we have available is "El Merengue Tramado" composed by Ivan Canela.
