Howling Earth is
a world music project designed to bring the sounds of Latin America
and beyond to everyone. We make live video recordings of authentic
traditional, indigenous, folk and street music as well as short documentaries of people, places and events throughout the continent. We offer dvds and video on demand of our recordings for sale on this website.
This site is not meant to be a comprehensive or academic catalogue of all the music on this continent. We have travelled South America recording videos of artists from the various musical traditions that we encounter. We hope that this web site will put the videos in context for people unfamiliar with the music.
